Where vacuum does the work.
And what keeps it working.
Every process asks something different of a vacuum pump: a deeper vacuum, more vapour, more hours, harsher gases. Here are the applications I see most on plant visits. For each one: the vacuum range, the pumps usually installed, what goes wrong, and the spares that fix it.
Applications
Filter by industry, then open any application for the details.
How I look at an application
Horsepower and price come last. The process comes first.
Walk the process
What's in the vessel, what leaves it as vapour, how hot, how long the cycle runs.
Measure the duty
Working vacuum, pumping speed, gas and condensable load, corrosiveness, running hours.
Match the pump
Oil-sealed, dry, booster-assisted: and the condenser, trap or filter that protects it.
Keep it running
Right spares in stock, planned overhauls, and an AMC if the pump is critical.
Support across the pump's life
Through Mechvac and VacSolutë, for any brand already installed in your plant.
Spares & kits
Vanes, bearings, seals, filters, rotors and overhaul kits for rotary vane, dry screw and claw pumps, to the OEM part number.
Repair & overhaul
Workshop or on-site. Tested before and after, with a failure report so the same fault doesn't return.
AMC / CMC
Scheduled visits, a status report each time, and priority breakdown support for critical pumps.
Inspection & audit
A one-time check of installed pumps: vacuum, current, temperature, noise, with clear recommendations.
Rotor coatings
PEEK, PTFE, PFA, electroless nickel and Xylan for dry screw pumps in corrosive service.
Replacement pumps
When repair no longer pays: a direct Mechvac equivalent for the installed pump, sized to the real duty.
Don't see your process?
Tell me what the pump is doing and what's going wrong. Send the nameplate photo too, and I'll suggest the right pump, spare or fix.
